A high-performing trading firm is growing its data engineering capability, focused on building scalable, cloud-native data infrastructure supporting live trading.

You’ll work on large-scale data lakehouse architecture, handling high volumes of concurrent data access across regions.

Responsibilities

1. Build and evolve a distributed data lakehouse platform
2. Develop and optimise Python data pipelines
3. Design scalable data models for analytics and research
4. Improve performance across cloud and database layers
5. Maintain strong data quality and validation frameworks
6. Deliver bespoke data solutions for research and trading use

Requirements

1. 5+ years in data engineering / platform builds
2. Strong Python and SQL
3. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS ideal)
4. Understanding of distributed systems and performance
5. Self-sufficient, structured problem solver
