Our client is looking for a Head of Business Development drives revenue growth for their digital payment solutions across banking and/or retail customers. You will build and maintain strong client relationships with senior decision-makers, lead consultative sales from pipeline through deal closure, and align priorities with regional heads to ensure consistent go-to-market execution and accurate forecasting.
The Role
- Own and execute a regional BD strategy to meet revenue, margin, and pipeline targets.
- Build a qualified sales pipeline and run deals through to signature; manage forecasts and pipeline hygiene.
- Lead customer executive meetings, solution positioning, and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with product, implementation, and legal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and customer value delivery.
- Align go-to-market priorities, reporting cadence, and deal strategy with regional heads.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships (where applicable) to accelerate growth.
- Strong client connection in banking and/or retail (proven ability to build trust and drive deal execution).
- Practical familiarity with digital payment solutions (tailor to your product line: e.g., acquiring/PSP, wallets, payment orchestration, cross-border, collections, etc.).
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred if applicable).
- 10+ years of experience in business development / partnerships / enterprise sales, with meaningful exposure to banking and/or retail customers.
- Working knowledge of the payments ecosystem and solution selling concepts.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
