Your new role

• Conduct top-down macroeconomic and market research across global economies, asset classes, and financial markets to formulate investment views and strategies.
• Develop multi-asset investment recommendations and asset allocation views, covering equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, and alternative investments.
• Produce high-quality investment commentaries, market updates, thematic research reports, and client-facing investment publications.
• Prepare and deliver house-view presentations, investment outlook materials, and portfolio strategy updates for internal stakeholders and private banking clients.
• Partner closely with Relationship Managers, Investment Consultants, and Product Specialists to provide investment insights, support client discussions, and drive investment-related business initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Master's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Investments, Business, or a related discipline; CFA/CAIA qualification is an advantage.
• 5-12 years of relevant experience as an Investment Strategist, Investment Counsellor, Macro Strategist, or Investment Research professional within private banking, wealth management, asset management, or investment research environments.
• Strong understanding of global macroeconomics, financial markets, and multi-asset investing, with the ability to formulate top-down investment views and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing investment publications, presentations, and research materials for client and internal use.
• Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, with a proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
