Key Accountabilities:

1. Conduct credit review, recommendations and approval (with delegated credit authority) to credit proposals of mortgage/secured lending in accordance with the Bank’s credit policies and guidelines as well as in compliance with local regulatory requirements.
2. Liaise with related parties in ensuring prudent credit evaluation and timely assessment of all secured lending applications.
3. Assist team head in updating application / approval processing procedures and guidelines for retail secured lending products.
4. Identify potential credit risk inherent in credit proposals and make appropriate escalation for senior management’s attention as appropriate.
5. Participate in projects relating to secured lending credit processing and perform relevant user acceptance tests.
6. Provide support in conducting regular credit review from time to time.
7. Coordinate and provide administrative support to ensure timely processing and accuracy.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines is preferred.
2. Minimum 4-5 years’ relevant experience in credit assessment and processing of retail banking secured lending products with independent delegated approval authority is preferred.
3. Good knowledge of retail banking lending products and their operations, banking regulations and compliance.
4. Good understanding of legal and regulatory requirements on secured lending credit assessment and approval process.
5. Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
7. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
