Function:Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC)

Role & Responsibilities

Uniqus is seekingprofessionals for our ARC team. As an Associate Director, youwill work with clients to provide high-quality accountingadvisory services set out above. You will be responsible tomaintain client relationships with senior stakeholders, workwith Partner & Directors as well as mentor the team membersapart from providing support on our business development andpractice management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Participate inbusiness development activities and contribute to proposal development.
• Manage clientrelationships and act as a point of contact for clients.
• Project management
• Technicalaccounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues, andconduct research on accounting topics and prepare technical memos
• Assist clientswith the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Assist clientswith financial reporting, including the preparation offinancial statements.
• Review andanalyse client financial information and providerecommendations for improvement.
• Supervise andmentor team members.
• Stay up to dateon developments in accounting standards and regulations.
• Ability tomanage multiple engagements and deadlines,
• Attention todetail and ability to work independently.
• Applyindependent and objective professional judgment in applyingaccounting standards to meet engagement expectations,including regulatory requirements.

Requirements

We're looking foraccounting professionals who are passionate about providingaccounting and reporting consulting to clients which includessupport on technical and special matters including GAAPConversion, accounting policy support, new accounting standardimplementation (end to end), and Disclosure support forIFRS/USGAAP/Ind AS. The incumbent will work for top global clientsacross a wide variety of markets and industry sectors.

• Demonstrate asound understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed ofprofessional standards; and effectively apply this knowledgeto moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
• Flexibility andwillingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
• Possess strongdomain knowledge.
• Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong writtenand verbal communication skills.
• Ability to workunder pressure - stringent deadlines and tough clientconditions which may demand extended working hours.

Qualification

• Qualified CAs
• CPAs/ACCAs withexperience of working in technical accounting/financial reporting
• 7-9 Years ofrelevant experience
