As a Guidewire Software Engineer, you'll deliver high-quality, supportable technology solutions by developing, configuring, testing, integrating, and supporting Guidewire applications and related services. In this role, you will contribute to core insurance capabilities such as policy administration, underwriting, rating, billing, claims, and related digital experiences. You'll analyze, code, debug, document, and maintain components including product model configurations, business rules, workflows, integrations, and APIs that support policy lifecycle transactions, data exchange, and business operations.

Education:
BTech/BE in computer science or other related degree.
Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.
Experience:
3+ years of technology experience. 2+ years of experience working with Guidewire INOW applications, configurations, or integrations is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Soft Skills & Attributes:
Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes, develops, tests, debugs, documents, and deploys Guidewire software solutions according to standards and best practices.
- Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure applications, integrations, and data are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling, and techniques to support build, deployment, testing, and release activities.
- Configures, enhances, and supports Guidewire components including product model configuration, business rules, workflows, integrations, APIs, and related services.
- Supports continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice, and innovation.
- Helps manage assigned project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with guidance as needed.
- Collaborates across teams and follows company standards, security expectations, and engineering practices.
