Or Asia Life/Health nit is looking for an energetic and dynamic Senior nderwriter to join or Mmbai office. Yo are a member of the Life/Health team contribting to the development and profitability of or bsiness in Asia. Yo have medical and financial nderwriting and claims assessment responsibilities and will be involved in nderwriting development and research, prodct development and knowledge enhancement initiatives.




Yor Key Responsibilities

Assess and nderwrite medical, financial and special risks within delegated athority limits, ensring timely and consistent nderwriting decisions

Provide technical nderwriting expertise and spport to clients, internal stakeholders and cross-fnctional teams

Bild and maintain strong client relationships, offering practical soltions, training and gidance on nderwriting matters

Contribte to the development and enhancement of nderwriting standards, gidelines, standards, frameworks and best practices

Spport claims assessment and approval within delegated athority limits

Monitor market trends, medical advancements, reglatory developments and emerging risks to identify opportnities for innovation and bsiness growth

Collaborate with actarial, claims and bsiness development teams on prodct development, and strategic projects

Identify client training needs and spport the development and delivery of nderwriting training programmes

Coach and mentor jnior nderwriters, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing

Participate in regional and international initiatives and projects

Yor Profile

At least 16 years of relevant prior work experience in a life insrance or reinsrance company with good knowledge of Indian markets

Professional life insrance or life nderwriting qalifications are desirable

Sond medical knowledge and exposre to life, disability and health insrance prodcts wold be an advantage

Proven ability to bild and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Excellent commnication and interpersonal skills

Good command of English, both written and spoken

Able to work independently as well as a strong team player

Ability to travel for bsiness as and when reqired
