Job Summary:

• We are hiring an Accountant reporting to the Spanish Team Manager, located in Bray-Ireland, this role plays a relevant role in the support of a number of sales offices within the company group (primarily in Spain).

• This job is fully onsite at least during probation period, after probation it can be 2 days home 3 days office.

HOW YOU'LL HELP US CONNECT THE WORLD:

• The position suits a General Accountant willing to support full accounting responsibilities, general ledger, VAT Returns & quarterly VAT returns, compliance, payroll, budgeting, planning and forecasting, analytical and presentation work, and up to the challenge to work in close contact with other team members and Finance departments across the EME region (mainly in Spain).
• We are looking for a credible professional to manage the month-end accounting process in accordance with US GAAP for key Spanish business units, ensuring all targets are met and proactively reviewing balances before closing.
• Expectations include payroll management, review, preparation, posting of Payroll Journal entry completion, and submission of various taxes and reports (VAT, Intrastat, Intra-community transactions, CIT accrual calculations, Withholding tax, social security).
• You find it exciting to have daily interactions with a multidisciplinary team in a matrix environment where your ability to take ownership and be proactive is key to thriving in the position.

Must-Have:

• Right to work in Ireland.
• Part or recently qualified accountant with proven technical ability-ACCA, CIMA, CAI and IT.
• Prove experience in Spain on payroll management, review, preparation, posting of Payroll Journal entry completion, and submission of various taxes and reports (VAT, Intrastat, Intra-community transactions, CIT accrual calculations, Withholding tax, social security).
• The role requires to be in the office 5 days a week.
• Willing to commute to Bray and living in Ireland already (no relocation bonus).
• University Degree.
• Part or recently qualified accountant with proven technical ability-ACCA, CIMA, CAI, and IT
• English proficient and Spanish advanced level.
• International accounting experience.
