Accounts Assistant, Banking, Dublin City Centre

The Company

Our client is a leading banking institution with a focus on the corporate sector. Due to an internal restructure they are seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to work in a small finance team.

The Position

This is an interesting and varied role with a wide remit of responsibility. The role will report into more senior members of the team. The main duties of the role will include:

• Month-end reporting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Statutory reporting
• Main point of contact for annual audit
• Bank account management
• Complex reconciliations
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Tax and statutory compliance compliance
• Assist with annual audits
• Assist with finance projects
• Ad-hoc as required

The Person

• Relevant experience working in a dynamic role, Financial Services experience beneficial
• Ideally Part Qualified Accountant
• Ability to work in busy environment
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communicator
