Assistant Accountant - SME

The Company



Our client provide professional services and are rapidly expanding, they have a vacancy for an Assistant Accountant to join the team and take responsibility for a number of entities.




The Position



Reporting to the Financial Controller and joining a close knit team, some of the duties include:

• Accounts Payable


• Fixed Asset register maintenance


• Bank account management


• Balance sheet reconciliations


• Drive process improvement and efficiency


• Monitoring costs and variance analysis


• Monthly reconciliations across the Group


• Assist with audit process


• Tax and statutory reporting


• Managing financial system

The Person:

• IATI Qualified


• Ability to work in hands on function


• Excellent analytical skills, with strong IT skills essential


• Deadline orientated, with the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines


• Strong communicator


• Excellent attention to detail
