Business Analyst Credit & Market Risks

Your Day-to-Day:

Analyse existing business processes, operational practices and risk control frameworks to identify inefficiencies, operational risks and opportunities for improvement.
Gather, consolidate and review business requirements and existing documentation from various stakeholders.
Challenge and clarify business needs to ensure they are aligned with operational, functional and regulatory requirements.
Draft business requirements, functional specifications and supporting documentation.
Contribute to the design of target solutions and assess their impact on existing processes and operating models.
Propose pragmatic solutions to optimise processes, strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency.
Coordinate and participate in functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that business requirements are properly addressed.
Organise and lead workshops with business teams, control functions, IT teams and project stakeholders.
Contribute to the implementation of new systems, tools and processes as part of business transformation initiatives.
Support end users throughout the change management process, facilitating the adoption of new tools and procedures.
Work autonomously across multiple topics, ensuring effective coordination, prioritisation and delivery.

Your Profile:

2 to 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, ideally within the banking, financial services, risk management or internal control sectors.
Good understanding of Credit Risk, Market Risk, operational processes and risk control frameworks.
Experience in gathering business requirements, conducting functional analysis and drafting business and functional specifications.
Familiarity with functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business transformation projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information.
Ability to understand business challenges, challenge requirements and translate them into clear, actionable solutions.
Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels.
Autonomy, adaptability, organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
Proactive mindset, with a strong interest in continuous improvement and the development of expertise in Risk & Controls.
