About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and strategic HR Business Partner to co-manage the HR agenda for Malaysia, partnering with business leaders to design and deliver impactful organizational strategies that drive performance, engagement, and sustainable growth. This role will report to Malaysia HR head.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, gaining deep understanding of organizational needs and challenges to co-design and implement tailored HR strategies that align with business objectives. Drive the HR strategies to be implemented and continuously iterate it.

2. Organization Development: Lead initiatives to strengthen organizational capability through local and regional organizational development frameworks, policies, and infrastructure, covering areas such as talent acquisition, talent development to ensure the future talent pipeline and critical positions' continuity, performance management, and employee relations, in collaboration with other HR functions.

3. HR Expertise & Advisory: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in HR, providing timely, insightful advice and guidance to key stakeholders. Work closely with CoE HR teams on specific GDC HR projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery and consistent employee experience across all levels of the organization.

4. Culture & Communication: Build and maintain a strong internal communication framework through close collaboration with leadership and employees, fostering trust, transparent, goodwill, and a shared commitment to company values and culture.

Job Requirement

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partnering experience, preferably in fintech or technology industries.

2. Deep understanding of end-to-end HR operations and workflows, with familiarity in leveraging HR tools and technologies.

3. Strong sense of ownership and integrity, combined with excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

4. Solid knowledge of leading practices in key HR disciplines including talent development, performance management, employee engagement, reward systems, and people analytics.

5. Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with business leaders and employees at all levels.

6. Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional language proficiency is a plus.
