The Senior Specialist, Readiness & Resilience will be assigned to one of Pinkerton largest global clients, they will be responsible for managing emergency management preparedness, response coordination leadership, and planning within an assigned geographical region. This role serves as the regional emergency management subject-matter expert, familiar with local regulations, procedures, processes, risks, cultural considerations, and site-specific emergency planning requirements. The Senior Specialist collaborates with Regional Security Managers, GSOC, and local stakeholders to ensure emergency response plans and preparedness activities are practical, regionally informed, and aligned with EA's enterprise processes.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Serve as the emergency management subject matter expert for assigned geographical regions and territories.
  • Maintain knowledge of local emergency management regulations, procedures, operational risks, cultural considerations, and response requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update emergency response plans for assigned local sites.
  • Ensure local emergency response plans align with broader EA emergency management standards and processes.
  • Host local preparedness activities including tabletop exercises, simulations, drills, and planning sessions.
  • Create documentation, PowerPoints, presentations, exercise materials, simulations, and operational readiness content.
  • Provide on-call emergency management support for assigned geographical areas.
  • Provide emergency management response coordination leadership during incidents within assigned regions.
  • Support situational awareness, documentation, escalation support, response framework alignment, and coordination with RSMs, GSOC, and enterprise partners.
  • Support after-action reviews and track corrective actions within assigned regions.
  • Identify regional preparedness gaps and escalate recommendations through the R&R Lead and appropriate partners.
  • Attend the office regularly.
  • Work closely with RSMs, GSOC, Safety, Facilities, Business Continuity, Communications, and other enterprise partners.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an Emergency Management discipline from a recognized program with four years of recent experience. Experience working in an Emergency Operations Centre, or within an Incident Command System structure. Knowledge of hazards in APAC and their impact on employees and assets. Clear understanding of Command and Control, GSOC, and Security processes.

  • Able to develop positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision in stressful situations.
  • Strong computer, office, and project management skills.
  • Able to work after hours with schedule flexibility.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills with high-level experience in representation and training.
  • Ability to clearly communicate both written and verbally in English.
  • Demonstrated advanced understanding of emergency management planning principles and practices.
  • Able to work in a high-stress environment with possible unpredictable hours.
