Your Role: Lead, Focus, Grow

As the Subregional Marketing & Communication Leader for BeNeLux, you will lead marketing and communication across the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg with the Netherlands as an important growth market.

This is more than a marketing leadership role. You will act as a true business partner to our commercial and solution line leaders, helping them translate business priorities into focused, relevant and high-impact marketing initiatives.

You will be the connector between global ambition and local reality. Not by simply rolling out global campaigns, but by making sharp choices: what works for our market, what needs to be adapted, and where marketing can make the biggest difference.

What You'll Do

You will bring focus, energy and commercial relevance to Aon's marketing and communication agenda in BeNeLux.

Working closely with business leaders, commercial teams and solution lines, you will identify where marketing can directly support growth whether that is through targeted client campaigns, sharper positioning around priority topics, stronger sales enablement or high-quality client engagement.

Rather than focusing on broad brand awareness campaigns, your work will be targeted and business led. You will help the organization deepen relationships with key client segments, support the commercial agenda and translate complex propositions into clear, relevant stories for the market.

You will also lead the local marketing and communication team in the day to day execution. That means setting direction, creating focus and making sure the team works closely with the business. You are comfortable being both strategic and hands on: someone who can set the agenda but also stay close enough to know what is needed to make things happen.

Events and senior client engagement are also part of the role. You will help ensure that Aon shows up in the right way at high level client moments with the right audience, the right message and the right follow-through.

Who You Are

You bring extensive experience in marketing and communications, ideally gained in a complex B2B environment such as professional services, financial services, consulting or another business where propositions are sophisticated and stakeholder management matters.

You understand that marketing in a B2B context is not about volume, but about relevance. You know how to work with commercial teams, understand client priorities and translate business needs into focused marketing initiatives that create real impact.

You are business savvy, pragmatic and energetic. You combine a strong marketing foundation with the ability to operate in a matrix organization, where global direction, regional priorities and local business needs all come together.

Whether you are working with senior stakeholders, guiding your team or representing Aon at client events, you bring clarity, confidence and the ability to move things forward.
