{"description": " JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the Data Protection team, this position will support the efforts of Data Protection and Technology Services to ensure adherence to global regulatory and legal data protection and privacy requirements. This role supports all lines of business and functional areas across the organization and its affiliated companies worldwide.
Yearly Salary Range: Php 800K to Php 1.5M

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stay up to date with global data privacy laws and regulatory requirements applicable to the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Conduct the organization's annual privacy inventory of data and processing activities, including performing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Manage and respond to inquiries received via the privacy mailbox, providing consultation and guidance or escalating when necessary.
- Perform privacy-related vendor evaluations to assess regulatory compliance and privacy risks associated with onboarding third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with business units to identify areas of privacy risk and recommend appropriate controls to mitigate risks in new projects, cloud-hosting initiatives, and other special projects.
- Draft and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines. Support other business lines in developing policies that may impact individual privacy (e.g., employee handbook, technology usage, social media policy).
- Assist in reviewing changes to relevant laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of annual privacy training and ongoing awareness programs.
- Support procedures related to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
- Assist in the annual review and improvement of monitoring policies related to personal data and data loss prevention.
- Integrate risk and control processes into daily responsibilities to effectively monitor, mitigate, and escalate privacy risks.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies (e.g., AI) and their implications for data protection and privacy.
- Assist with data breach investigations, reporting, and trend analysis related to privacy and client confidentiality.
- Support additional program elements and responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant industry certifications strongly preferred (e.g., CIPM, CIPP/EU/A/C/US, CISSP).
- Experience in related areas such as data privacy, auditing, information security, or risk management.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
- Must be willing to work EMEA hours: 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM Philippines Time.
