Job Responsibilities

The position identified is responsible for delivering Generative AI projects and related initiatives across multiple business functions in Asia.

• Collaborates with business partners, external vendors, co-workers, leadership teams, to implement improvements.
• Leads the team to properly implement projects using the standard methodologies either Agile or Waterfall.
• Support the GenAI Program Manager and Platforms Head in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Guides and mentors the project team in delivering the project artifacts with acceptable standards.
• Responsible for managing the delivery process, either Agile or Waterfall.
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving. Safeguards the team
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right people and teams to help
• Arrange and facilitate team meetings, planning, retrospectives and demos
• Assessing the maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
• Generation and reporting of status of initiatives and projects report

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year prior experience in leading GenAI,ML and/or data-related projects or initiatives, with strong understanding of GenAI/LLM/NLP concepts
• Knowledge and experience working with cloud-based technologies and at least one of the following areas: Generative AI(GenAI), Machine Learning (ML), or Business Intelligence (BI) in corresponding platforms from Microsoft, AWS, or Google
• At least 3 years in project management with expertise in process management, operations-based projects
• Familiarity with the Scrum agile framework is considered an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse team environment.
• At least two years managing a team of five or more direct reports
• Demonstrate self-motivation, the ability to take initiative, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Able to handle and resolve unexpected challenges that may arise during the project.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey information and ideas to stakeholders. Candidate should be able to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly business terms and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
