Responsibilities

1. Prepare and review direct and indirect tax filings (Corporate Tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax).
2. Ensure compliance with local and regional tax regulations.
3. Support tax provisioning and tax reporting for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
4. Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors and tax authorities.
5. Assess the tax implications of new products, transactions and business initiatives.
6. Support tax audits and respond to regulatory queries.
7. Drive process improvements and enhance tax controls.

Requirements

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
2. 5-8 years of tax experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
3. Good knowledge of Singapore tax regulations; regional tax exposure is advantageous.
4. Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
5. CPA, CA or relevant tax qualifications are preferred.
