Role Overview
The HNW Distribution will grow and lead the company's high-net-worth business with international broker partners, a key pillar of its wealth distribution strategy. The role takes full commercial ownership of the international broker channel, from developing partnerships through to delivering production. It also serves as the trusted technical and relationship contact for broker principals, individual consultants, and their support teams across the region.
 

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of the channel's production, growth, and persistency targets, and deliver against the annual business plan.
• Build and maintain strategic broker relationships, acting as the main contact and escalation point.
• Find, onboard, and activate new broker partners to widen distribution reach and market share.
• Oversee the channel's sales pipeline, with accurate forecasting, disciplined opportunity management, and prompt conversion of leads into business.
• Create and run broker engagement, training, and sales enablement programmes that lift capability, productivity, and the quality of business written.
• Work closely with Product, Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, and Marketing to unlock opportunities and improve the broker experience.
• Track market trends, competitor moves, and broker propositions, and feed these insights into product and distribution decisions.
• Produce channel performance reports, business updates, and recommendations for the Group Chief Distribution Officer and senior leadership.
• Represent the company at broker conferences, industry events, and market forums to raise its profile and strengthen industry ties.
• Support the Chief Distribution Officer, Group Wealth on strategic initiatives, business development, and cross-market projects.

What You'll Bring

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 10 to 12 years in life insurance distribution, including a substantial, verifiable record in the international broker/IFA channel.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with both broker principals and individual consultants.
• An established network of consultants and brokers that you can mobilise quickly.
• Solid technical knowledge of HNW life insurance products, underwriting, and cross-border planning issues.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills, from firm principals to individual producers.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and comfort taking direct accountability for results.
• Strong integrity and sound judgment when working across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
• Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin is an advantage.
