Job Summary

Provide critical first-level support and control to Trading and Sales desks, managing trade lifecycle events and operational risks while driving process improvements within the Trade Support Unit.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver first-level support and control to Trading and Sales desks to ensure accurate trade processing and compliance
2. Oversee Trade Support Unit activities including deal booking, booking controls, and trade input, amendments, modifications, and cancellations per bank guidelines
3. Manage trade lifecycle events such as exercise, fixing, compression, expiry, and novation to maintain operational integrity
4. Resolve trade-related queries and operational issues promptly to minimize risk and disruption
5. Identify and assess operational risks from daily activities and collaborate with the Team Manager to enhance processes and implement effective controls
6. Assist the Team Manager in projects involving system and process enhancements, procedure improvements, new tool implementations, and onboarding of new business lines

Required competencies and certifications

1. Good knowledge of capital market products including Rates, Credits, Forex, Forex Options, and Fixed Income
2. Hands-on experience managing capital market middle office products and processes
3. Exposure to Middle Office functions and understanding of Front-to-Back processes
4. Proficient communication skills to engage effectively at multiple organizational levels
5. Ability to adapt quickly to fast-changing environments
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
