THE GLOBAL BANKING TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING AND STRENGTHENING RELATIONSHIP WITH A BROAD RANGE OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTION CLIENTS, INCLUDING BANKS, SECURITIES FIRMS, ASSET MANAGEMENT COMPANIES AND OTHER NON-BANKING FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. THE TEAM WORKS CLOSELY WITH CLIENTS TO UNDERSTAND THEIR BUSINESS NEEDS AND DELIVER TAILORED BANKING SOLUTIONS ACROSS LENDING, TREASURY, TRANSACTION BANKING, AND OTHER FINANCIAL PRODUCTS, WHILE COLLABORATING WITH REGIONAL AND GLOBAL STAKEHOLDERS THROUGHOUT THE MIZUHO NETWORK.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and non-banking financial institutions clients.
• Identify and originate new business opportunities while supporting the growth of existing client relationships.
• Deliver tailored banking solutions through close collaboration with internal stakeholders across product, credit, compliance, and operations functions.
• Collaborate with APAC and global coverage/product teams to deliver integrated cross-border solutions and ensure consistent client coverage across the Mizuho network.
• Monitor market trends, client activities, and industry developments and translate insights into actionable client recommendations and coverage initiatives.
• Support the executions of strategic initiatives and internal governance processes, including pipeline management, portfolio reviews, and preparation of high-quality client and management materials, to enhance business growth.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Banking / Finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years' of experience in the banking industry, with exposure to global markets and institutional clients.
• 2-3 years of Relationship Manager experience covering financial institutions and non-banking financial institutions is preferred and will be an advantage.
• Strong English proficiency (written and spoken) for client communication, documentation and reporting.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and internal controls.
• Motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in Korea is required.
