THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MARKET BUSINESS AND ENCOMPASSES SALES, TRADING, AND BANKING FUNCTIONS. WE ARE SEEKING FOR A SALESPERSON TO MANAGE BUSINESS ACTIVITIES FOR NON-JAPANESE CUSTOMERS, WITH A PRIMARY FOCUS ON KOREAN COMPANIES. AS A JAPANESE BANK, OUR CUSTOMER BASE CONSISTS MOSTLY OF JAPANESE COMPANIES, HOWEVER, WE HAVE A CLEAR OBJECTIVE TO EXPAND OUR BUSINESS WITH NON-JAPANESE CLIENTS IN THE FUTURE. IN RECENT YEARS, WE HAVE BEEN PLACING GREATER EMPHASIS ON CROSS-BORDER AND, ONSHORE/OFFSHORE BUSINESS, AND FROM THIS PERSPECTIVE, WE REGULARLY COLLABORATE WITH OTHER APAC TREASURY TEAMS, INCLUDING THOSE IN HONG KONG, SINGAPORE, AND TOKYO. Job Responsibilities
- Execute transaction and provide advisory services for foreign exchange and derivatives products to customers.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by efficiently and professionally addressing customers inquiries and requests.
- Ensure effective risk management by adhering to all relevant internal policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
- Support various tasks and initiatives related to the Treasury/Sales teams and regional operations as required.
- Prepare and deliver regular client reports and presentations, and participate in client meetings and events, including occasional on-site engagements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 years of progressive experience in Treasury Sales, demonstrating a strong track record in managing client portfolios, structuring treasury solutions, and driving business growth
- CDIA (Certified Derivatives Investment Analyst) certification is required for this role.
- VBA skills are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a dynamic, result-driven, and sales-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a high sense of responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all deliverables.
- Motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure.
