Job Description
Credit Administration and Control Division provides back office credit administration support to credit / business units of the Bank. These units include Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Retail Business Banking, International Business Debt Capital Market, Global Market & Investment Management as well as Structured Trade Commodity Finance
Reporting to the Dept Head Credit Control Syndication, you will be responsible for providing and maintaining an operating framework covering Syndication Loan Agency support to the Lending / Business units.
Incumbent is expected to provide management oversight and processing support of Syndication Loans, Promissory Notes, and Project Accounts to ensure daily operations service delivery meet business and customers' expectations, deliverables are in compliance with regulatory framework for the key operations listed below.
Incumbent must be able to drive initiatives to benchmark service delivery to industry best practices, ensure adequacy of controls, bench strength is adequately trained and has breadth and depth of skills to support overall operations needs within agreed SLA.
Incumbent must be able to formulate system and work processes and process improvements for an end to end, holistic approach to syndication loan operational requirements and coordinate with other divisions & stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of related services.

- Manage and maintaining cordial relationship between Business units, Borrowers and Finance Parties as well as handling enquiries/requests
- Support syndication / club deals where the Bank is acting in the capacity of Facility Agent &/or Security Agent
- Ensure the monitoring of Financial Covenants and Project covenants are properly managed and complied
- Processing day to day transaction of syndication loan administration (i.e. drawdown, rollover, rate fixing, billing, repayment, prepayment, fee calculation, and proper document lodgment of documents
- Review Syndication Loan Agreements, Agency Agreements, Security & Finance Documents to ensure feasibility, appropriateness and operational practicality of clauses in relation to roles, responsibilities and duties of Facility Agent &/or Security Agent &/or Issuing and Paying Agent
- Review Syndicate Legal Counsel confirmation of compliance of Conditions Precedents prior to disbursement of Syndication Loans
- Coordinate instructions from Syndicate Legal Counsel to the Finance Parties on the disbursement of Syndication Loans
- Perform agency administration of Syndicate Borrowers undertakings
- Monitoring and ensuring Project Accounts transactions are done in adherence of the Housing Developers (Project Account) Rules (HDPAR)
- Co-ordinate / Participate in projects in the department as and when applicable
- Provide guidance, training and knowledge sharing as and when applicable
