Our client is a globally recognised financial institution with a strong presence across Asia and an established footprint in key financial markets. With thousands of employees worldwide and a well-developed corporate and institutional banking platform, the organisation is known for its robust governance and evolving tax and regulatory framework. They are currently investing in strengthening their tax capabilities in response to global regulatory developments, including Pillar Two initiatives.
Job Description
- Manage tax compliance processes, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely.
- Oversee tax planning and advise on tax-efficient strategies in line with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and review tax reporting for management and statutory purposes.
- Provide guidance on the implications of new tax legislation and updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to address tax-related matters.
- Support audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.
- Develop and implement tax risk management strategies to safeguard the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations applicable in Singapore.
- At least 8 years of tax experience within financial services or banking environments
- Knowledge of Singapore tax regulations and tax accounting concepts
- Familiarity with OECD Pillar Two / global minimum tax frameworks and related compliance
- Understanding of FATCA, CRS, and related regulatory frameworks
