IT System Architect - Banking, Trading - vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Define the target and transition architecture for GPS initiatives, ensuring alignment with the wider enterprise architecture vision.
- Own solution blueprints and transition roadmaps for the target application landscape.
- Support architecture governance and ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Product Owners, and Agile teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Contribute innovative and practical solutions for markets, technology, and financial industry developments.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Proven multi-year experience as a System Architect within the financial industry or banking-focused consulting.
- Strong understanding of markets environments, ideally with experience in trading, execution, or derivatives issuing architecture.
- Experience with integration technologies such as streaming, messaging, and web services.
- Hands-on experience in web software development is a strong advantage, for example Java, .NET, JavaScript, React, Angular, relational databases, or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools; certification such as TOGAF or BIZBOK is highly desirable.
- Language skills: fluent English.
