Role overview:

• Analyse and translate complex business needs into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining a well-prioritised product backlog.
• Map customer journeys and end-to-end business processes (As-Is/To-Be), performing impact assessments to identify dependencies, risks and delivery considerations.
• Act as a key liaison between Product, UX, Engineering and Architecture, leading workshops and supporting stakeholder engagement across business and technology functions.
• Validate solutions against functional and non-functional requirements, leveraging agile delivery practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and acting as a proxy Product Owner when required.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity, traceability and alignment to business goals.
• Translate requirements into well-structured epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, and maintain a refined, prioritised product backlog.
• Map customer journeys and end-to-end business processes (As-Is and To-Be), identifying gaps, pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct impact assessments to surface dependencies, risks and delivery considerations, supporting informed decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX, Engineering and Architecture teams to shape solutions and support agile delivery.
• Validate proposed and implemented solutions against functional and non-functional requirements prior to release.
• Plan, facilitate and lead workshops and ceremonies, driving effective stakeholder engagement across business and technology functions.
• Act as a proxy Product Owner when required, providing direction on priorities and scope to delivery teams.

About the candidate:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working in agile delivery environments, ideally within digital or technology-focused projects.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise deliverables.
• Demonstrated capability in customer journey mapping and business process modelling (As-Is and To-Be), with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities.
• Confident working with JIRA and Confluence (or similar tools) to manage backlogs, user stories and project documentation.
• Comfortable acting as a proxy Product Owner when needed, making informed prioritisation decisions and providing clear direction to delivery teams.
• Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across Product, UX, Engineering and Architecture functions.
• Structured, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and outcomes.
• Proactive, self-motivated and adaptable, able to operate in a fast-paced, client-facing consultancy environment.
