Salary and benefits : From £90k, plus an indicative bonus range of 30% to 60%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

The role



We are looking for someone to confidently lead the Workplace 56 Degrees function. The successful candidate will lead our client aligned Customer marketing, known as 56 Degrees, who are responsible for developing our marketing strategy to drive member engagement through client communications, presentations and campaigns across our aligned book of clients. The team also play a key role in pitch activity to secure new clients




Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and lead the marketing and member engagement (Customer Relationship Management) strategy for workplace, aligned to the key business and marketing priorities of the Group


• Leading, engaging, developing and motivating the team to deliver the marketing & communications plans, presentations, webinars and campaigns for our aligned clients and new prospects.


• Work in partnership with Group Brand & Marketing , B2B Marketing, Customer Marketing, Workplace Distribution, and wider business teams to deliver innovative strategies that support our goals and amplify impact across the business.


• Role model and embed a culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement, to ensure Standard Life's member engagement approach is industry-leading


• Maintain a strategy to leverage emerging technologies and personalised approaches including digital channels to help clients engage employees and drive measurable outcomes.


• Build Standard Life's reputation within the Workplace market, including presenting at industry conferences, adviser events and new business pitches


• Establish best-practice measurements, analysis and reporting that ensures team are delivering impact and clearly reporting their contribution towards core KPI's (business, commercial, marketing, engagement)
