We're hiring for an International Benefits Consultant to support our growing International Benefits team!



To support our growth in the UK and Ireland, we're seeking a dedicated International Benefits Consultant to increase employee engagement and provide first class customer service. To engage and educate our clients about their employee benefits via a wide range of communication methods. To secure new business from new and existing prospects / introducers, assisting in the delivery of NFP's business plan and objectives for profitable growth.




We're looking for someone with:

• Good Communication: clear, confident, and professional in both written and verbal communication


• Organisation & Prioritisation: manages multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment


• Problem Solving & Innovation: proactively develops creative, client-centric solutions


• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) preferred


• Significant experience in international employee benefits


• Demonstrated experience managing senior client relationships


• An extensive knowledge of technical details, such as country specifics, policy details and products such as multinational pooling

Using these skills, you'll be:

• Taking ownership of the client relationship - technical ownership and relationship ownership.


• Performing strategic reviews with large and key account clients


• Building on the relationship with the client via one-on-one calls and touch points throughout the year


• Understanding client aims and objectives, requirements as per IDD to ensure recommendations are suitable, particular to each country


• Consistently working to broaden technical knowledge (exams, personal study etc.)


• Understanding of the client's global strategy and being able to find solutions to suit the clients need


• Making suitable recommendations based on the client's particular needs


• Client servicing - respond promptly to client enquiries, in line with agreed levels of service (within 24 hours)


• Accurately peer review reports and email wording for account managers where applicable


• Working with finance to generate invoices for clients and following on the fee discussion with the client


• Understanding the client service agreement and prepare when needed


• Maintaining a good relationship with sales, to be involved with the sales process and onboarding of clients


• Building and maintaining a relationship with colleagues in the US, Canada, Ireland etc. as there will be an expectation to work as a team for the client


• Confidently overseeing the account managers to carry out the administration work for the clients


• Ensuring a professional standard is upheld when speaking with colleagues, clients, prospects, and any other 3rd parties
