Join a leading buy-side investment firm as a Data Reliability Engineer supporting mission-critical data platforms used by quantitative researchers and trading teams. This role combines data operations, production support, automation, and incident management, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and availability of large-scale data pipelines across Linux, Windows, and AWS environments. Ideal for candidates with SQL, Python, and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor and support mission-critical data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, availability, and reliability.
Investigate and resolve production incidents, communicating updates to end users and stakeholders.
Perform data validation, data quality checks, auditing, and operational support activities.
Develop and maintain Python- and SQL-based tools, processes, and documentation to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in production support, application support, data operations, or a similar technical support role.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Python, Linux, Windows, and AWS environments.
Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail, preferably within a financial services or data-intensive environment.
