Job Description
Contribute to the achievement of the Chubb Global Casualty business plan. The AVP- Underwriter PEO is responsible for production, underwriting and maintenance of new and renewal domestic casualty accounts specifically within the PEO universe and within Workers' Compensation line. In addition, the AVP-Underwriter is responsible for establishing and cultivating business relationships with brokers and clients within the PEO space to assure the continued flow of new business opportunities while representing all Chubb Global Casualty segments and products.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, select, underwrite, price, quote and maintain new and renewal business.
- Retain accounts through active participation in Chubb Stewardship process.
- Adhere to Chubb standards on pricing and servicing.
- Participate in product line projects as required.
- Respond to referrals on new business from the insureds.
- Oversee & execute on various operational tasks and maintain strict adherence to File Construction and Documentation.
Qualifications
- College degree in insurance, business or related fields or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years commercial casualty experience, underwriting Fortune 1000 companies, and/or PEO/Staffing.
- Experience with Workers Compensation programs or PEOs is preferred.
- Superior communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Superior analytical skills and experience with Loss Sensitive programs.
- Excellent sales and marketing skills.
- Advanced computer skills preferred.
- The individual should have strategically based relationships and expertise to help navigate clients both internally and externally.
