Are you an experienced Audit Manager looking to work with an impressive client portfolio where no two assignments are the same?

Fletcher George is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and ambitious accountancy practice in Guildford to recruit an Audit Manager for its growing Audit team. You'll work with a broad portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses, large regional companies, private equity-backed organisations, charities and international groups, gaining exposure to technically challenging audits across a wide range of sectors. You'll also have the opportunity to build your expertise in both UK GAAP and IFRS, with full support to further develop your technical knowledge.

This is a genuine management role with responsibility for leading audit assignments, managing client relationships, developing your team and overseeing the successful delivery of a varied portfolio. The Role

• Manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors.
• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships.
• Deliver audits for larger businesses, groups and technically complex organisations.
• Lead, coach and develop qualified and trainee team members.
• Oversee workflow, reviews and resource planning.
• Support Partners on complex audit and advisory assignments.
• Identify opportunities to add value for clients and support business development.

About You

• ACA, ACCA, ICAS, SAICA or equivalent qualified.
• Recent experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong audit management experience with excellent technical knowledge.
• IFRS exposure would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A confident people manager with strong communication and client relationship skills.

Location

This role is ideal for candidates based in Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Godalming, Haslemere, Leatherhead, Weybridge, Esher and the surrounding Surrey area.
