Off-Cycle Internship, Technical & Commercial Infrastructure
Macquarie Group London, Vereinigtes KönigreichOff-Cycle Internship, Technical & Commercial Infrastructure
We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.
What role will you play?
In this off-cycle internship, you will support the origination, development and execution of infrastructure projects across a range of sectors. Working closely with senior team members and colleagues across the Infrastructure Projects and Capital team, you will help assess project scope, delivery models, procurement requirements, risk allocation and adviser inputs to support clear, informed decision-making.
Your work will include reviewing technical and procurement materials, contributing to bid and investment committee materials, undertaking market and project research, and coordinating inputs from contractors, operators, technical advisers, legal advisers and other project partners. Through exposure to live opportunities, you will build skills at the intersection of commercial analysis, technical due diligence and infrastructure investing, while learning how complex project information is translated into financeable and investable structures.
We are looking to fill 6-month internship slots from November 2026.

- A strong interest in how major infrastructure projects are designed, procured, financed, built and operated.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project information and turn it into clear, practical outputs.
- An interest in technical and commercial due diligence, including project scope, construction and operating risks, procurement requirements, stakeholder interfaces and adviser workstreams.
