This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Private Client specialist to take a leading role in the continued development of a highly regarded advisory practice, working with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners across the UK and internationally.

You'll join a collaborative team that combines technical expertise with a personal approach, providing trusted advice on complex wealth, succession and tax planning matters.

The Opportunity

As a Private Client Tax Partner, you'll play a key role in shaping the future growth and strategy of the Private Client offering. You'll lead a portfolio of sophisticated clients, provide expert advice on complex personal tax matters and work closely with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver integrated solutions. Alongside client advisory work, you'll have responsibility for developing new relationships, expanding the team's market presence and supporting the continued growth and development of the Private Client practice. This role would suit an experienced Private Client Director, existing Partner or senior adviser looking for a platform where they can have genuine influence and make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop relationships with a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
• Provide strategic advice across a broad range of private client matters, including wealth structuring, succession planning, inheritance tax and estate planning.
• Build and grow the Private Client offering through networking, business development and market engagement.
• Develop new client opportunities through existing relationships, professional networks and internal collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional value through the firm's wider advisory services.
• Support marketing activity, publications, events and thought leadership initiatives.
• Work closely with Partners and specialists across the firm to deliver holistic advice to clients.
• Lead, mentor and develop senior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.
• Support recruitment, team planning and the continued evolution of the Private Client function.
• Take responsibility for portfolio management, including budgets, billing, profitability and quality of service delivery.
• Contribute to the development of the firm's wider strategy and service offering.

About You

• Significant experience advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Strong technical knowledge across UK private client taxation, including wealth planning, succession, trusts and estates.
• A proven track record of developing client relationships and generating new business opportunities.
• Experience leading and developing senior professionals within a Private Client environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage profitable client portfolios.
• Excellent networking, influencing and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to act as a role model and inspire others through technical expertise and leadership.
• A genuine ambition to contribute to the growth and success of a specialist Private Client practice.
