Role Purpose

Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement Manager, assisting with sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination and sustainability projects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain supplier records and assist in vendor onboarding . Support maintenance of healthy relationships with key suppliers delivering continuous program support.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and accurate documentation.
  • Provide information and training to the business on any new procurement policy and supply chain risks, as well as dealing with incoming procurement queries.
  • Support success of ongoing procurement projects that repeat annually, such as policy review, training and external reports. Liaise with Practice Protection and provide necessary ESG reporting (Modern Slavery, Sustainability Report).
  • Support cost analysis and reporting for procurement activities.
  • Keep the spend and contract tracker up to date, while ensuring all contracts are properly reviewed with a procurement lens and filed in the contract repository.
  • Maintenance and publication of procurement reports to necessary stakeholders on spend and transaction activity by the business, office, dept, etc.
  • U ndertake ad hoc tasks as required to assist in the general running of the department.

Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain roles.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practice.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and understanding of ESG principles.
  • Basic negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team.
