Graduate Business Readiness Specialist




Location: Stirling | Full-time | Graduate Programme | Start Date: September/October 2026


Department: Operational Readiness



Are you highly organised, a strong communicator, and interested in how businesses successfully implement change?



Join SS&C as a Graduate Business Readiness Specialist and play an important role in helping the business prepare for and adopt new technology, processes and operational change. You'll gain exposure to project delivery, stakeholder engagement, operational readiness and service improvement, working alongside experienced colleagues to ensure change is successfully embedded across the organisation.



This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to build a career in business change, project delivery, operational readiness or business analysis.




What you'll be doing



  • Support IT and operational change initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Carry out operational readiness activities, including requirements gathering, testing support, procedure updates, communications and training materials.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business areas are prepared for upcoming change.

  • Support release management activities and early life support processes.

  • Produce project documentation, reports and management information.

  • Participate in process reviews and help identify opportunities for service improvement.




What we're looking for




Eligibility



To be eligible for our Graduate Programme, you must have graduated within the last two years, or be due to graduate in 2026, with a minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant discipline.




Relevant degree disciplines

  • Business Information Systems

  • Operations Management

  • Economics

  • Communications

  • Business Studies

  • Change Management

  • Or a related discipline with a focus on business operations, project delivery, organisational change or stakeholder management




Essential skills



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Comfortable learning and using new technologies and digital tools.

  • An interest in AI, automation and how technology can support business change.




Desirable skills



  • Experience communicating with customers, clients or stakeholders through work experience, internships, placements, volunteering or part-time employment.

  • Exposure to project work, business change or process improvement activities.

  • An understanding of project delivery or change management principles.

Your development



You'll follow a structured training plan designed to build your understanding of SS&C's project and change lifecycle. During your first 6-12 months, you'll support live projects while developing knowledge of operational readiness, release management and change delivery processes.



As your confidence grows, you'll take increasing ownership of readiness activities, stakeholder engagement and project deliverables, helping to ensure successful adoption of change across the business.




Important to know



  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Based in Stirling

  • Hybrid working arrangements available in line with business requirements
