Your new roleAs a Senior Backend Developer, you'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, building and enhancing scalable .NET services within an Azure environment. Working closely with developers, testers, UX specialists and product stakeholders, you'll help design and deliver robust software solutions while participating in architectural discussions, Agile ceremonies, code reviews and testing practices.This is a hands-on engineering role focused on solving technically challenging customer problems within a complex, enterprise-scale product ecosystem.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years' commercial software engineering experience
- Strong C#, .NET and ASP.NET development experience
- Experience with Azure cloud services and microservices architecture
- SQL / T-SQL experience
- Strong understanding of software design principles, including SOLID
- Experience with automated testing, TDD, unit testing and integration testing
- Experience building scalable, performant and maintainable applications
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Exposure to AI-assisted development practices or AI-enabled technologies is highly regarded
- Initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential
- Long-term project pipeline within a mature engineering environment
- Modern Azure technology stack
