Do you enjoy working in a tax environment where accuracy and compliance matter? As a Tax Specialist, you will support VAT- and real-estate-tax-related compliance activities for Real Estate DACH, ensure high-quality data and documentation, and help deliver reconciliations, analyses and controls. In this role, you will support day-to-day tasks while actively contributing to ongoing process improvements in the tax environment.

We're looking for a Tax Specialist to support the team with the following responsibilities:

• support quarterly fair value updates, including changes in use, input VAT adjustments and subsidies
• review and validate property allocation ratios
• prepare quarterly VAT returns; review documentation and file supporting documents to ensure timely submission
• perform annual turnover reconciliations and support VAT analyses and audits
• support preparation of real estate capital gains tax statements
• support real estate tax processes
• support direct tax and administrative tasks (e.g., supporting documents, data preparation)
• support continuous improvement of VAT processes and controls

You will work in the Product Services team for Real Estate DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) in Wroclaw. As a Tax Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting the Product Services team and ensuring efficient and compliant VAT and real estate tax processes.

Your expertise

Your expertise
• ideally 2-3 years of experience in a similar tax/VAT-focused role, preferably with a real estate background
• bachelor's/Master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field (or a comparable qualification)
• excellent command of MS Office applications, particularly Excel (reconciliations and data analysis)
• collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently
• methodical and accurate team player with strong analytical and numerical skills and a compliance mindset
• fluent in German and English to support our local client base
• you're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
