Our client is a market-leading telecommunications company, looking for a Data Scientist to join their growing data team. This role combines advanced analytics, machine learning, and data engineering responsibilities, offering the opportunity to work on large-scale data platforms and drive business insights.

Your new role

• Design, develop, and deploy data science and machine learning solutions to solve business challenges
• Build, maintain, and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Analyse large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
• Ensure data quality, governance, and performance across data platforms
• Support the development of data architecture and cloud-based analytics environments

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience in both Data Science and Data Engineering
• Experience building data pipelines, data models, and ETL workflows
• Knowledge of machine learning, statistical modelling, and predictive analytics
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
